I've just finished work on my new book 'Lancaster Squadrons in Focus - Special Edition' which is a redesigned and expanded version of my first book which we published over 10 years ago and has been sold out for many years. Rather than just do a straight reprint, we decided to replace as many of the original photos as possible with new ones and also expand the size to 128 pages from 96. We now have over 300 original wartime photos included, over 200 of which are new to this Special Edition. Also included are new features on gun turrets, aerials and appendages, camouflage and markings and internal details. On top of this, we've commissioned 20 new colour profiles from the amazing talented Piotr Forkasziewicz which are now placed throughout the book rather than in a separate colour section.

As
many of you will know, the Lancaster has always been a favourite
aircraft of mine and I'm really proud of this expanded version. I've
tried to enhance and enlarge every photo to show every hidden and little
known detail of this iconic aircraft. A lot my time as an artist is
spent researching the finer details of an aircraft, finding out what
each little fitting or aerial is for. In this book I've tried to cover
every detail that I've discovered over the years and to correct the many
inaccuracies and myths that have been published in other sources.
