Condor Original Sold

Just a quick update to confirm that we have now sold the Fw200 original painting.  The prints will be published on 22nd April along with the third painting in my Battle of Britain trilogy depicting Me109s in combat with Spitfires.  More details in the next few days.

Research in Tromsø

Just back from a great week in Tromsø, gaining inspiration for more paintings of my favourite part of the world.  Whilst there we went chasing the Northern Lights and were rewarded with a spectacular display on the night of 2nd February.  The light-show lasted for over an hour and was quite awe inspiring, despite the -16C temperatures!

Happy Christmas!

TomNeilNov2015a

OK, so Prince Harry has copied my idea for a Christmas card!  Asia, Kasia, Szymek and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  This photo was taken when we visited the legendary Battle of Britain ace Wg Cdr Tom Neil back in November, a wonderful memory for all of us from 2015.

Two originals sold

Just a quick note to update the original sales.   We have recently sold both the ‘Winter Halifax’ and the Osprey NW Europe Spitfire Aces (which appears in the current Flypast advert).   If you are interested in purchasing any of the remaining original paintings listed HERE, please just get in touch.

Happy Christmas from us all!

As it’s Christmas I thought I’d post a little musical entertainment from our Christmas party here in Poland. For those of you who remember our daughter as ‘little Kasia’, here is a short clip of ‘now not so little’ Kasia playing ‘Wariacje w stylu zydowskim’ on her violin, with my wife Asia accompanying on the piano.  Just click on the photo
Happy Christmas from us all!

Eight veterans to attend our last Sunday

We are delighted to confirm that we’ve now got eight RAF veterans lined up to attend the last Sunday of the exhibition (5th October).  So if you haven’t been able to see the show yet, why not join us for the last day, apparently there will be refreshments and free jelly babies again!   I’ll be there from around 1.30pm and taking offers on any original paintings that haven’t yet sold, so it’ll be a good chance to negotiate a bargain…

The list of attendees is as follows;

Royston Clarke – Wireless Op/Air Gunner 101 Squadron Lancasters – bought down on his 29th mission by enemy nightfighter – POW Escapee

It’ll be a great opportunity to chat informally with this unique gathering of airmen, who have experienced operational flying in some of the RAF’s most iconic aircraft.  don’t miss it.

All details can be found by clicking here, there’s a large free car park and cafe on site and even a Museum of the Horse upstairs for those more interested in Mustangs of the four legged variety!
