Giclee Prints
Every time that we show a new painting on the website, we always get several enquiries as to whether prints will be available. Up until now, we have had to say no to most enquiries due to the prohibitive costs of producing litho prints from every work.
Now however, a new technology has been refined to a point now where I'm happy to reproduce my work in this form.
The giclee prints are produced individually to order. The paper used is from the superb Hahnemuhle range and is chosen for its excellent surface quality and stability.
The image quality is far better than litho printing because the giclee printer uses seven colours as opposed to four. This means that subtle shades, particularly in the blue range are far more accurately reproduced. The inks are guaranteed by the manufacturers to last at least 75 years without fading.
If you see any painting on this site that you would like to purchase in print form, please get in touch as it may be possible to publish it in the standard giclee format.
