A new concept in collecting aviation art.
Fifteen outstanding fine-art prints of the Luftwaffe at War 1939 – 1945 by award winning aviation artist Mark Postlethwaite GAvA.
Building over a period of four years, this unique series will contain many aircraft types never before seen in mainstream aviation art. A must for all Luftwaffe enthusiasts!
AFFORDABLE
Prints are only £50 each and the 15 prints will be published over a four year period. Simply purchase one of the prints and you will be allocated a number within the edition of 250. You will then be sent an exclusive preview for all subsequent subjects and have first refusal for your numbered print for the life of the collection. There is no obligation to purchase further prints and no prints will be sent ‘on approval’.
If you are only interested in purchasing an individual print in the collection, that's fine, just let us know and we won't send you the previews. Alternatively there are 50 artist’s proofs of each print ideal for this purpose at £60 per print.
FRESH SUBJECTS
This series will cover many classic Luftwaffe aircraft that have never been published before in mainstream aviation art such as the He177, Do217, Fw200 and Bu181. The famous types such as the Me262, Me109, Ju87 and He111 will also be covered.
EXCLUSIVE COLLECTOR'S CASE
To complement the series, the artist has designed and commissioned a professional quality portfolio case worth over £100 in which to safely store the prints. The case is hand-made in the UK by one the country’s leading manufacturers. The case (with 8 art sleeves) can be purchased for just £40 when ordered with any four prints. Otherwise it’s available at £75 to any collector who has purchased at least one print in the series.
LACK OF WALL SPACE?!
Many collectors are rapidly running out of wall space as their collection grows. The RLM Collection prints are all identical in size and layout so that one frame and mount can be used to display them all in rotation over a period of time.
ADD VALUE
Each print comes with a generous white border, ideal for collecting signatures at events and airshows. The Collectors’ case ensures that the prints can be transported cleanly and safely at all times.
INTEGRITY AND AUTHENTICITY
The project is run entirely by the artist Mark Postlethwaite and all collectors will receive a personal service from the artist directly. Although several of the subjects have already been researched by some of the world’s leading Luftwaffe experts, collectors are invited to suggest scenarios for some of the later subjects in the series. Please contact Mark for more details. mark@sidewinderpublishing.co.uk
WHAT ABOUT THE RAF?
We definitely plan to produce a similar series on RAF Bomber Command, if you would be interested in this project, please let us know so that we can assess numbers.
SPECIFICATION

The first seven prints are now available and the eighth print will be published soon. Follwing prints will be published every 3 months or so.
