Flt Lt Don Cheney DFC escapes from his burning Lancaster KC-V 'Dark Victor' of 617 Squadron over Douarnenez Bay, France on 5th August 1944. Each print comes with the pilot's extensive and moving account of what happened that day along with a photograph of the crew printed on the same overall sheet of art paper. This description can be removed when framing for pasting to the back of the frame, or can be kept alongside the image if preferred.
